Bayou Seafood Gumbo 1/2 cup celery, few leaves, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sliced Okra, fry in oil before adding:
16 oz. tomatoes
1 small green pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
Few sprigs parsley, minced
Dash of Tabasco
Salt to taste
2 1/2 cups water
2 cups Shrimp, Crab Meat and Oysters
Cook celery and onion in butter slowly for 5 minutes. Add all other ingredients except seafood. Cook for 30 minutes. Add seafood and a dash of Tabasco.
